Tipsy after a fun day in Perth!

Just thought I'd pop on here before I go to bed! I think it's always a waste of alcohol to go to bed still feeling tipsy!!

Well me and James have had a fun day in Perth, well, I think it's fair to say I've had a fun day and James has had a less fun day following me round lots of shops! I managed to find myself a cute hooded top seeing as everyone keeps telling me it will get cold soon and I guess I packed really badly with no form of warm clothing so some might say that I needed this top rather than just buying it because I wanted it (that was my excuse to James anyway!)

Well after dragging James round loads of shops in search of birthday presents and re-visiting the same shops, he'd pretty much had enough of the whole shopping experience so we had a good sushi dinner and went for a drink (or 2). We found such a cool place right on the river called 'The Lucky Shag', wasn't what I imagined actually - quite classy and on the water with a really nice menu and some good beer and wine choices. We only stayed for 2 rounds as our car was parked at the station but we got to listen to some really nice live acoustic music and watch the harbour.

We're off into Swan Valley tomorrow to meet up with James' uncle and aunt. It's just outside Perth and where all the wineries and breweries are so there should be some more tasting to do, it's a hard life!

Anyway, bedtime calls...
